The boys got hit with the creeping crud and have been home for the last two days. So, between Easter, sick kids, snow (YES! Freaking snow!), and the neverending procrastination, I’ve been a bit lax in posting.
Here’s the last big project I was knitting. 15 Knitted Easter Eggs pattern from The Purl Bee. If you actually count the eggs in the photo, there are only 14 eggs there. One egg was a major dud. It happens.
Clockwise, from the top blue egg:
Blue: Nature’s Palette Fingering, sample from Yarn of the Month club
Blue Striped 1: Blue Moon Fiber Arts Sock Candy, leftovers from socks for Mom
Pink Striped: Regia, name unknown, cotton/wool/elastic, sample from Yarn of the Month club
Purple: Sundara Yarn Sock Yarn
Rainbow 1: Lorna’s Laces Shepard Sport
Rainbow 2: Knitpicks Dancing
Teal: Regia Bamboo Color, leftovers from socks done for Molly at Celtic Swan Forge
Orange: LavenderSheep Merino/Tencel Sock
Green: My own handspun, fiber is LavenderSheep Superwash
Blue Striped 2: Schachenmayr Nomotto Catania Color
Blue Striped 3: Regia, name unknown, 6 ply wool, sample from Yarn of the Month Club
Red: Wool, unknown type, recieved in a swap
Pinky Orange: Oceanwind Knit, leftovers from socks done for my sister-in-law’s mother
Lavender with Beads: Fly Designs Monarch Sock Yarn, leftovers from socks for my mother-in-law
Everyone at Easter dinner got to take home their own egg. I think they went over well. I’ve already heard reports of one couple’s cat stealing them for her own and apparently won’t give them back.
Now to catch up on March’s chemo cap, before March runs out!
